Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all appointments and services provided by Gel by Jolie. Please read them carefully before booking.

1.

General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all appointments and services provided by the salon. By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2.

Appointments and Booking

Appointments can be made in advance and are subject to availability. The salon reserves the right to refuse or cancel appointments at its discretion.

3.

Payments

Payment must be made in full at the end of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • Cash

The salon reserves the right to request payment in advance for certain services or clients.

4.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the appointment: no charge
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment: 100% of the appointment cost will be charged

Cancellations must be communicated clearly via the salon's accepted contact method.

5.

No Shows

Failure to attend an appointment without notice (“no show”) will result in 100% of the appointment cost being charged. Future bookings may require prepayment or may be refused.

6.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened or cancelled to avoid disruption to other clients. Full charges may still apply.

7.

Age Restrictions

Some services are restricted to clients aged 16 and over. The salon reserves the right to request proof of age.

8.

Refusal of Service

The salon reserves the right to refuse service to any client, including but not limited to:

  • Repeated cancellations or no shows
  • Inappropriate behaviour
  • Health or safety concerns
  • Failure to comply with salon policies
9.

Previous Work

The salon does not carry out infills, repairs, or corrections on work performed by other nail technicians. Clients must book a full removal and new set where applicable.

10.

Health and Safety

Clients must inform the salon of any medical conditions, allergies, infections, or sensitivities prior to treatment. The salon is not liable for adverse reactions where such information has not been disclosed.

The salon reserves the right to refuse treatment if there is any risk of infection or contraindication.

11.

Satisfaction and Aftercare

Any issues with your treatment must be reported within 48 hours of your appointment. After this period, corrections may be chargeable.

Clients are responsible for following all aftercare advice provided.

12.

Liability

All treatments are carried out at the client's own risk. The salon shall not be liable for:

  • Allergic reactions where no prior disclosure was made
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow aftercare advice
  • Normal wear and tear of nail treatments

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13.

Personal Belongings

The salon accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to appointments.

14.

Changes to Terms

The salon reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply.
