Choosing nail art for your Tonypandy appointment

A saved nail photo is a useful starting point, but choosing the right appointment is just as important as choosing the design. At Gel by Jolie in Tonypandy, I offer nail art options alongside builder gel and gel polish services. Sending your inspiration before booking helps us plan the time your design needs.

Start with the finish you like

A French tip, a small detail or a full design can each give your nails a different feel. Think about whether you want the same finish across the set, a feature on one or two nails, or something more intricate.

You can send more than one inspiration picture. Tell me what you like about each one, such as the colour, the shape or a particular detail, so we can discuss a design that brings those ideas together.

Keep your own nail length in mind

A design photographed on long nails may need adapting for a shorter set. Mention the length you'd like to keep when sending your ideas. A builder gel overlay works over your natural nails, while added length requires a separate extension service and an appropriate appointment.

Builder gel and hard gel extensions are currently available to existing clients only, as shown on Booksy. For a natural nail appointment, the builder gel and gel polish categories are a useful place to begin.

Nail art and French tip prices

Gel polish with basic art starts at £27 and detailed art at £30. Builder gel with basic art or French tips starts at £35; detailed art starts at £37 and extreme art at £40. An infill or extension appointment has its own booking options, so check the current menu rather than selecting by the photo alone.

Book enough time for the details

The booking menu separates different levels of nail art because the work involved varies. Send your design first if you're unsure which category to select. Also tell me about existing product, any removal needed and anything else you want included.

For a seasonal set, plan around the date you'd like your nails ready. Festive colour and Christmas nail art can be discussed in the same way as an everyday design, using your inspiration and the current appointment menu.
